The Nurse Clinician is a nurse who, through clinical experience, study and supervise practice in patient care at the masters or doctoral level, has gained expertise in a specific specialty area of patient care services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Demonstrates the advanced knowledge and skills required for specialty nursing.
Responsible and accountable for the development and application of specialty practice standards, staff development, regulatory compliance and research to enhance the quality of care to the patient and the patient’s family.
As an advanced practitioner, the Nurse Clinician is essential to the management of complex patient and systems related issues.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in nursing.

Demonstrated effective leadership, teaching, research and communication skills.
